Dr. Tandy has served our fellow Oak Cliff citizens as Chair of the Oak Cliff Chamber of Commerce, as a Member of the Board of Trustees of Dallas Baptist University, and was selected as Oak Cliff Citizen of the Year, 1991-92. His service to our Oak Cliff hospital community has included being a Board Member of Methodist Dallas Medical Center; President of the Methodist Hospital Medical Staff; Chief of Anesthesiology of Methodist; and current member of Methodist Dallas Medical Center Foundation. He also served as a City Councilman for Oak Cliff for six years; service as a Member of the Board of DFW Airport Board; service on the Board of Directors of the Dallas Zoological Society, the Dallas County Heritage Society and Friends of Dallas Public Library.
