CLUB history

Servant Leaders on this long listing leave a rich  legacy of improvement to the Oak Cliff Community, the City of Dallas and on Lions International. They are the embodiment of the mission "We Serve."

Community events are the very heart of this club and its motto, "We Serve." In a variety of events, Oak Cliff Lions work together to put their talent and time toward serving others. Learn more about these that have happened over the years:

75th Anniversary Celebration (2004)

The Oak Cliff Lions Club time capsule was buried on October 30, 2004 . It will be re-opened in 2029 after 25 years when celebrating the 100th year anniversary of the  club.

These 18 Lions were named as part of the 75th Anniversary Celebration. They represent the tradition & history of the Club across its first 75 years in existence.(1929-2004).

Part of Oak Cliff Lions Club history, this tradition has had its stops and starts. Presently, it is on hold until a future Club President re-schedules the event.

Established in 1979 by Past President O.N. Moffett, this annual gathering of  the current and Past Presidents of the Oak Cliff Lions Club is a treasured time sharing memories and laughs.
